How it works
Every course in Alva Courses is built from sections that hold lessons. You create the course, group lessons into sections, fill each lesson with content blocks, then publish. Course management lives in the Shopify admin, while learners watch in your storefront.
Create-a-course steps
1. Create a course
Open Alva Courses in your Shopify admin and click Create course. Give the course a title and description, then save to open the course builder.
2. Add a section
In the builder, click Add section and name it — for example Getting started. Sections group related lessons into modules that learners work through in order.
3. Add a lesson
Inside the section, click Add lesson and give it a title. Open the lesson editor and add content blocks such as a video, rich text or an image. Use Create Multiple when you want several lessons at once.
4. Publish the course
Set the course status to Published. The course is now live and ready to be linked to a Shopify product so buyers are enrolled automatically.
What learners see
Enrolled learners open the course from the "My Courses" area of their Shopify customer account and play lessons in the branded storefront player, with a sidebar lesson list, a progress bar and completion ticks — no second login or external platform.
