How it works
Alva Courses ships a Customer Account extension that surfaces a "My Courses" block inside your store's native Shopify customer accounts. When a student buys a course, their enrolment is tied to their account email, so the right courses appear automatically — there is no second login and no separate learning platform to manage.
How students reach My Courses
1. Enable the Customer Account extension
In the Alva Courses dashboard, turn on the Customer Account extension. This adds the My Courses block to the account pages of every customer in your store.
2. Sign in to the customer account
Students open your store's account login and sign in with the same email they used to buy the course. Enrolment follows the Shopify account, so they never need a separate password or platform.
3. Open My Courses
Inside the account, students click My Courses to see every course they own as a grid of cards. Each card shows the course cover art, its title, and a progress bar reflecting how much they have completed.
4. Continue a course
Students click Continue on a card to open the storefront course player at their next lesson, or Start on a course they have not begun. Completion ticks and progress carry over between visits.
What learners see
Learners see only the courses they own, branded to your store. Each card links straight into the course player, and the progress bar updates as they finish lessons — so returning students land back exactly where they stopped.
